Linda Ragland’s professional career began in the banking industry as an IRA/Keogh specialist; followed by a thirty+ year tenure in the media industry. In 2018, her entry into the real estate industry began with Womack Development & Investment Realtors, where she is now sales manager of the residential division and a top producer with the brokerage.

Having started in the newspaper industry with E.W. Scripps Company, Linda Ragland has had quite a unique and successful career in the business of media and entertainment. Her media path included broadcast advertising sales with Summit Communications, iHeartMedia, Inc. and Radio One Inc.

While in the media industry, Linda took a three year hiatus to work in the entertainment industry where she served as a general manager with Music World Entertainment during the global launch of the music recording group Destiny's Child. She found herself in an exciting and amazing career space, working with music mogul Mathew Knowles and other national music executives, renowned producers, booking agencies, and music/film icons Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, LeToya Luckett, among many other artists.

Having sustained a diversified and rewarding professional history, Linda now calls the real estate industry her forever home, where she has multiple designations including Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMC), Texas Affordable Housing Specialist (TAHS), New Home Construction (NHC), and is a member of the Luxury Home Council.

Linda Ragland is very engaged in community outreach initiatives and has received numerous awards including two City of Houston Certificates of Recognition/2012 & 2020, a U.S. House Of Representatives Certificate of Congressional Recognition/2012, Houston Money Week/2014, Honey Brown Hope Foundation/ 2012, 100 Black Men of America Houston Metropolitan Chapter, 2008. Linda is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and TSUNAA Houston Chapter.
